What is Brew Crew?
Brew Crew Magazine is a quarterly choose-your-own-adventure for adults. Yes, it is about beer but it isn’t only about beer. It’s about the adventure of it all that makes a day out memorable.
Brew Crew Magazine is here for one of life’s most nagging questions: What are we going to do today? The answer is simple, all you have to do is pull out your copy of Brew Crew Magazine and pick an Adventure Loop. Each issue has two loops an easy drive from the Capital District with trails to hike, stops to make, and places to eat. You choose your adventure from there. We also have destination loops – one each issue that’s farther afield, perfect for a weekend away or vacation planning.
In the beginning
Brew Crew Magazine has grown in the last four years from something we did as a couple to creative Christmas gifts to a group of people based in Montgomery and Fulton Counties. Each year, the idea has become more solid, more fun, and something we want to share with more people.
You don’t need to like beer to enjoy Brew Crew
Brew Crew Magazine is meant to be enjoyed by the die hard beer folks and the people who love them, that’s why we offer variety and options for more fruit-forward, lighter, and sometimes nonalcoholic drinks for you to imbibe. Am I a fan of juicy IPAs? No. Have I found that I like a wild yeast saison? Yes. Is there a funky seltzer on the menu? I’m there. Do they have a 5 oz. or 8 oz. pour? One for me please!
Our First Adventure
Four years ago we planned our first adventure. It was one of our first dates and combined our mutual love of road trips and local producers of tasty beverages. Without knowing it, Scott planned a day that brought me back to a community I used to call home: Greenwich and Cambridge in Washington County.
On this, our first adventure, we went to:

- Northern Cross Vineyard
- Argyle Brewing Company
While we didn’t stop anywhere else, there are some amazing places to check out along the way.
